We’ve been working with Umoja on their Beyond the Game documentary series, and we were super excited to create their 10th episode celebrating their 10th year hosting the national soccer tournament. This year was in Indianapolis, Indiana and had the biggest turn out of the tournament.

Umoja Games is an all-Muslim tournament that has players coming all over from different countries, and being that it’s their 10th year, we wanted to celebrate the journey while also thinking about where Umoja will go from here. With this film, we also wanted to focus on the people - the familiar faces who have been here from the first tournament to the new faces that have joined the Umoja community. We also wanted to focus on the kids, who are the ones who are going to take this tournament into its 20th year and beyond.
