Family is a beautiful thing, and we were lucky enough to capture an incredibly lovable and energetic family.

We met the Hemraj family on a gorgeous, fall day in Phyllis Rawlinson Park. The kids were already so energetic and made the shoot incredibly fun. At some points, one of the boys even took a few photos on my camera. They all come colour-coordinated in a red flannel shirt and jeans, so we knew they were pros at photo shoots (except, on that day, we called it a ‘soccer shoot’).

The narration by Ali about fatherhood was absolutely beautiful. I think he captured what it means to be a father in such a beautiful and honest way, and I think it was the icing on the cake for this video. You have to hear it!

It was a great experience getting to work with such an amazing family. While editing the film, I was smiling at all the special moments we captured.
