Liberal Candidate for Aurora - Oak Ridges - Richmond Hill

Working with Leah Taylor Roy on this video for three months gave me a very personal and in depth look into being a politician. Leah was running as the Liberal candidate for Aurora - Oak Ridges - Richmond Hill and asked me to help her as a videographer. I was following her around, taking as much footage as possible.

Leah’s story captured me because she was incredibly passionate. She wanted to help everyone she met, regardless of whether or not they were going to vote for her. She got to know as many people as possible and spent so much of her time working towards building her community.

Her campaign was like a family. Everyone showed love and respect to one another and were united in a common goal.

After three months of working with her, we put this video together to document her journey but, more importantly, to highlight Leah’s magnetic story.
