We travelled up to Kleinburg, Ontario to capture this intimate home nikkah (wedding) ceremony of Samana and Wahid. Although it was a small event, it was still very beautiful and special for the couple - and we wanted to document the video as we experienced the day.

I joined the Aurora - Oak Ridges - Richmond Hill Federal Liberal Association and the Federal Liberal candidate of the area, Leah Taylor Roy, on their walk for the Coldest Night of the Year event, which is an annual charity to support the homeless.

We’ve been following Ilhaam’s Instagram page, The Kitchen Mission, for a while and were inspired by the content she creates. We created this documentary to learn more about how her desire to help people led her to creating an Instagram feed filled with delicious recipes, and how her philosophy of seeing a recipe as a guideline defines her style of cooking.
