Our approach to the Silk Road Institute’s annual Literary Festival was to document as if we were guests ourselves. We wanted to give an observational experience to the panels and the workshops, as well as the quiet moments in between. This year’s festival was also held at the Meridian Centre in Toronto, and it felt right to capture the vibe of the city in the video.

There were a lot of amazing speakers, and it only made sense to include their voices in the highlight video. We wanted the interviews to feel very grounded and real, as if the speakers were also attendees.
